You might be asking, why MyUnsettledLife? and the story behind the name is actually quite funny, we were driving on the highway, my girlfriend and I, thinking of what I could possibly name my blog, and bam the idea popped in my girlfriend’s head, “MyUnsettledLife!” she yelled. At first glance I wasn’t so sure about the name, then a rush of images came to me, imagining the name flashing on the website, or titled on my book, and it was then, that I fell in love with MyUnsettledLife. Now the reason behind that specific name is even better,”You’re never settling” she said,”You’re always looking for ways to get better, to make more money, to chase your dreams.” Funny enough, about two weeks before naming this website, I had just uploaded a video on my Youtube channel called ‘Stop Settling‘ that surprisingly got A LOT of views, taking my subscriber count at the time.
So what’s my story? Well, I am 19 years old at the time I started this website, but unlike majority of teenagers, I had huge ambitions to chase my dreams, and make something out of myself. I wanted to be fit, wealthy, and do what I love for a living. To be fit, I started educating myself about bodybuilding, and the way our human body functions. At the age of 17, I started my fitness journey, by religiously lifting weights, tracking the food I consume, and starting a Youtube that is aimed to inspire, motivate, and educate others to get started in transforming their bodies. Further more, to be wealthy, I began educating myself about finance, real estate, and the laws of the universe. I just so happen to stumble upon the movie ‘The Secret’ and since then my life has never been the same, the laws of the universe really impacted my existence, specially the law of attraction. The year following that, I, as many others do, started looking for ways to make money online, and I repetitively stumbled upon stocks and real estate. I am not gonna lie, stocks definitely took more of my interest, but I just couldn’t seem to figure it out as it seemed so complex. Months upon months of research, I finally came across an article on CNNMoney, that led me to my mentor, Timothy Sykes. I instantly headed over to his website, and a couple of hours later, I had majority of his DVDs. And since then, my stock trading journey began. Now for my passion, well everything I mentioned above is a passion of mine. I am a huge advocate of following your heart, your dreams, and your passions. I don’t see the point of doing something you don’t love, but for some reason, that is what society presses upon us to live up to. Since the day we are born, we are fed all these lies by our parents, society, and even schools. Majority of America, 85% estimated, live up to the status quo, now isn’t that just sad? We are robbed from our dreams and potential every single day. So this is the exact reason why I am staring this blog, this website, this revolution. I want to change peoples’ lives, but to do so, I first have to change their mindsets. Because imagine just for a second, if everyone on this universe followed their dreams and passions? Wouldn’t it be such a wonderful, peaceful, knowledgable world? Us humans were brought on to this universe for a purpose, a purpose so much greater than paying bills, or wasting your time doing something you don’t love. Join the community, and stop settling for what you’re given, instead follow that dream of yours, and truly live up to your highest potential!
